At the front, the Xingyue L exudes a bold and determined energy, highlighted by the signature Expanding Cosmos grille. The grille features vertical slats that expand from Geely's logo towards the edges, resembling a dynamic cosmic energy wave. Adding to its technological prowess, the Xingyue L incorporates three-segmented matrix front headlamps. Each headlamp consists of 126 individually controllable LEDs, allowing for customizable brightness and captivating lighting effects. Under the hood, the Xingyue L boasts a powerful 2.0L turbo direct injection engine. With a power output of 234 horsepower (175 kW), the Xingyue L delivers impressive performance. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 7.7 seconds. In terms of dimensions, the Xingyue L offers a spacious interior with a wheelbase of 2,845 mm (112.0 in). Its overall length measures 4,770 mm (187.8 in), its width at 1,895 mm (74.6 in), and its height at 1,689 mm (66.5 in), ensuring a comfortable and commanding presence on the road. It’s a new hybrid variant of the KX11 SUV but powered by an all-new hybrid powertrain developed by sister firm Leishen Power. The Xingyue will be the first of many advanced Hi-X hybrid models to come. Powering this car is the DHE 1.5 three-cylinder engine, said to be the world’s first mass-produced supercharged, direct-injection hybrid powertrain. Geely is claiming a rather high thermal efficiency of 43.32% (some of the newest Japanese engines are around 40%). It’s electrified, of course, so the total system output is 245 PS and 540 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels, and the SUV will sprint from 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The average fuel consumption is 4.3 liters per 100 km (NEDC cycle), though details relating to its battery size remain unknown at the moment. With the new hybrid powertrain, Geely said the Xingyue L Hi-X can cover a distance of up to 1,300 km on a single tank of fuel (NEDC cycle). Recent fuel economy tests have shown that it racked up a whole range of 1,426 km while managing an average of 3.9 liters per 100 km. the Xingyue L will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine mated to an 8-speed Aisin gearbox that dispenses 238 PS and 350 Nm. This is apparently what Geely knows as the ‘high-powered version’. There will be a ‘mid-powered version’ that sees the same 2.0-litre turbocharged engine mated to a self-developed 7-speed wet DCT instead. This version dispenses 218 PS and 325 Nm, capable of a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 7.9 seconds. But that’s about the difference between the engine options for the Xingyue L. Both versions are equipped with BorgWarner’s sixth-generation 4-wheel drive system. There are 5 driving modes available; Eco, Norm, Sport, Snow, and also Offroad. Other than engine info, Geely has also revealed more innovating details about the SUV like the headlamp that comprises of 126 individually controllable LED so owners can customise, not just the brightness, but even the lighting effects. Geely also emphasised on the use of 176 LED on the dot matrix tail lamp. Designers calls the connected tail lamp design a ‘cosmic aurora’ visual effect. Meanwhile, the dual-tone interior, which combines polished cyberpunk black highlights with classical bronze Verdigris patina, is a nod towards the model’s technological heritage and nobility in Asian history. Designers have also added suede material to play the ‘premium’ experience that Geely is going for. Geely emphasised that the interior is designed with low exterior noise level in mind, they’ve also installed a 10-speaker Bose sound system to further enhance the in-cabin environment. And of course, we don't need to mention the widely talked about 100 cm touchscreen infotainment system. Geely is so proud of their largest display system in history that they've been talking about it since the preview of the Xingyue L! The Xingyue L is capable of Level 2 autonomous driving. If you’ve seen videos of an owner calling a Tesla to autonomously exit a parking lot and drive over to where the owner is, well the Xingyue L is capable of that too. Geely fitted 12 ultrasonic radars, 5-millimetre wave radars, 4 high-def surround view cameras, 1 monocular camera, 1 dashcam, 1 interior camera, and 24 environmental sensors on the car to be able to manage the feat. Like the Geely Preface (sold as the Geely Xingrui in China), the Xingyue L will also be equipped with full firmware over the air (OTA) updates. This means the Xingyue L’s fundamental features like intelligent safety, infotainment, power, chassis, autonomous drive system, and connectivity will stay up to date at all times.

Geely, the largest privately-owned Chinese brand, unveiled its newest CMA-based SUV to the public at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. Named the Xingyue L in China, the high-end SUV is the latest design masterpiece which takes Geely Auto’s modernistic “Accelerating through Space and Time” aesthetic in a new direction. Under Geely’s Expanding Cosmos design philosophy is the modernistic “Accelerating through Space and Time” aesthetic. The latest Xingyue L has taken this aesthetic and evolved it into a new “Symphony of Space and Time,” a symphony resulting from all of Geely’s experiences and innovations, a symphony of Eastern and Western styling, a symphony of humanity and technology. Sitting on the Compact Modular Architecture, the Xingyue L is designed with strong proportions; a wide 1610mm wheel track and long 2845mm wheelbase, resulting in both strong presence and expansive interior. Viewing the Xingyue L from different angles present a bold yet serene, tough yet refined, classic yet trendy image. From the front, a bold and determined energy emanates from the signature Expanding Cosmos grille. Vertical slats in the grille expand from Geely’s logo towards the periphery like a moving cosmic energy wave. Three-segmented matrix front headlamps give a hint of the technology inherent in the Xingyue L. Each headlamp is comprised of 126 individually controllable LEDs, allowing brightness and even lighting effects to be customized. From the side, a luxurious streamlined design with clean lines which simplify complexity can be seen. Connected to each other by a strip of lights, the visual effect of a cosmic aurora is created when viewing the Xingyue L from the rear. Interior The interior of the Xingyue is where a true symphony between Eastern and Western styling is seen. Inspired by the classical Eastern image of high mountains and flowing rivers, a panoramic integrated cockpit space is created. The first feature that stands out is a metre long flowing infotainment screen connecting the co-pilot to the driver. Visually stacked atop the driver’s digital instrument panel, the front dash is reminiscent of overlapping mountains. The newest generation of GKUI allows seamless connectivity, ultra-high speed data, and 1920×720 high-def resolution. The Xingyue L comes with a 10 speaker high-performance BOSE sound system which is combined with engine harmonic noise reduction technology and double layered soundproofing, creating a serene interior environment liken to a symphony concert hall. Interior lighting has also been raised to the next level with a customizable 72 colour atmospheric lighting scheme that changes according to the driving mode. Continuous Evolution Developed on Geely’s most advanced Compact Modular Architecture, the Xingyue L is endowed with world-class safety, performance, intelligence, and sustainability. It is powered by Volvo and Geely’s jointly-developed 2.0L turbo direct injection engine and matched with either Geely’s self-developed 7-speed wet dual clutch or Aisin’s 8-speed automatic transmission. Users are offered two tuning options; a high-powered version with a maximum power of 175kW and up to 380 N•m of torque capable of a 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.7s or a mid-powered version with a maximum power of 160kW and up to 325 N•m capable of a 0-100km/h acceleration in 7.9s. With BorgWarner’s sixth-generation four-wheel drive system, a 50:50 front/rear torque distribution is possible offering Xingyue L users improved off-road performance. Five driving modes will be available; an energy efficient ECO mode, refined NORM mode, speedy SPORT mode, reliable SNOW mode, and a powerful OFFROAD mode. Going beyond L2 autonomous drive, Xingyue L comes with Geely’s newest 5G-enabled, completely unmanned automated valet system. Within a 200-metre area such as a parking lot, the Xingyue L can drive 100% on its own, search for spots and park itself. The reverse can also be accomplished by calling the Xingyue L to pick up the user within a 200-metre area. The vehicle is able to achieve this feat through the integration of 12 ultrasonic radars, 5 millimetre wave radars, 4 high-def surround view cameras, 1 monocular camera, 1 dashcam, 1 interior camera, and 24 environmental sensors. Following the steps of the Preface in connectivity, Xingyue L comes with full firmware OTA which allows fundamental aspects of the vehicle including intelligent safety, infotainment, power, chassis, autonomous drive, connectivity, etc to be upgraded over time. Connected to Geely’s technological ecosystem, the Xingyue L grows as Geely grows. Geely’s latest high-end SUV is set to be launched in the Chinese market in coming weeks with plans to go global in the near future.

И вот, наконец-то, самый крутой кроссовер бренда обзавелся собственным именем – Geely XingyueL. Полноприводный SUV среднеразмерной категории и самый крупный автомобиль на модульной «тележке» CMA от VOLVO, который является «главнокомандующим» модельного ряда китайского автопроизводителя. Кроссовер, сочетающий в себе изысканный дизайн, функциональный салон и современную «начинку».Внешне автомобиль выглядит хоть и сдержанно, но уверенно и мощно. На передней части вогнутая решетка, чем-то схожая с передом на Volvo XC90. LED-оптика сделана по матричному типу. На крыше разработчики добавили рейлинги и панорамный люк. В зависимости от комплектации размеры дисков составляют 18, 19 и 20 дюймов. В длину флагман достигает 4770 мм, в ширину – 1895 мм, в высоту – 1689 мм, а колесная база составляет 2845 мм.В салоне Geely Xingyue L – обилие экранов. В передней части их три: цифровая панель приборов, экран мультимедиа и еще один монитор – для переднего пассажира. Не передней панели минимум физических переключателей. Стоит отметить еще одну особенность. Новый Xingyue L – это первая модель Geely, которая получила полностью автоматическую систему парковки. В арсенале среднеразмерного кроссовера – вместительный багажник: его объем составляет как минимум 500-550 литров при загрузке «под шторку».Двигатель Geely Xingyue L так и остался без альтернативы – он представлен 2-литровой турбочетверкой. В паре с 7-ступенчатой робототизированной коробкой передач данный мотор выдает 218 л.с. и 325 Нм – такая связка может быть только переднеприводной. Полный привод получает более выносливая пара двигателя с 8-ступенчатым автоматом. Здесь максимальная мощность вырастает до 238 л.с., а прибавка крутящего момента составляет 25 Нм.С 0 до 100 км/ч среднеразмерный SUV разгоняется спустя всего 7.7-7.9 секунды, а его максимальная скорость переваливает за 200 км/ч. В комбинированном цикле расход топлива у пятидверки варьируется от 6.8 до 7.8 литров на каждую «сотню» пробега в зависимости от версии. Модели обещан широкий перечень систем помощи водителю и ассистентов безопасности, включая систему удержания в полосе движения, адаптивный круиз-контроль, систему предотвращения столкновений и камеру кругового обзора. Отделка выполнена из высококлассной кожи. Конфигурация салона Geely Xingyue L может быть как пяти-, так и семиместной. Новинка выглядит очень амбициозно, однако станет ли она настоящим флагманским SUV всего Китая – покажет время.
We’re no strangers to the Geely Xingyue L, Geely’s latest SUV based on the CMA platform. But one thing that the Xingyue L has been lacking since its launch was a hybrid engine option, now Geely has filled that missing piece with the introduction of the Geely Xingyue L Hi.X Hybrid. Even though this is a new addition to the Xingyue L’s variant line-up, Geely saw fit to give the car a quick change of looks to set it apart from its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterparts. Instead of the imposing vertical grille, the Xingyue L hybrid will come with a horizontal chrome grille paired with a chrome Geely logo. New dual-tone wheels, as well as a new horizontal lower air-intake, give the hybrid SUV an overall more futuristic look. Powering the Xingyue L hybrid is a 3-cylinder DHT Pro engine. Geely claims that the new powertrain is 43.32 percent more efficient than the standard petrol engines and will save 40 percent more fuel as the engine can manage 4.3 litres/ 100 km. Geely also claims that the car is capable of a range of 1,300 km on one tank of fuel while the century sprint can be done in 7.9 seconds. The Xingyue L hybrid’s modular intelligent hybrid platform, known as LeiShen ZhiQing Hi.X Hybrid engine, is just the start of Geely’s hybrid evolution. In the next three years, the brand has plans to introduce 20 more models with the Hi.X hybrid platform from Geely, Lynk & Co, as well as other brands under Geely’s umbrella.
